New 2816 gear

I have 4.1 hrs on my new tractor so far. This is my first tractor and I LOVE it!! I am actually looking forward to all the big jobs I have left over from hurricane Gustav. I now get to look for a finishing mower and a box blade.

Enjoy. Treat her well and you should get many years of service. I think the 16 series is one of the best deals on the market (lots of tractor for the money).

I agree. I like the Mitsubishi engines! I believe the 2816 and my 2516 use the same engine but have different HP ratings. Must be some pump massaging going on to squeeze the extra HP out of it.

You can even go back to the 15 series. A buddy has a 2816 and I have a 2615 and everything looks to be identical. As you said I think the 2816 is tuned for a few more HP which is always a good thing.

Congrats on the new tractor. I have about 50hrs on my 2816 and it hasnt disappointed yet. Very strong for its size, especially with filled rear tires.

Where in LA are you from. I am just a bit north of Alexandria. How bout them Saints.
