I see that the 2017 CK2610 HST has independent forward and reverse pedals rather than the treadle. Has the CK2510 HST now changed to independent forward and reverse instead of treadle? Thanks.

ya i kicked around at the fair and they still had the treadle pedal. Not a big deal they both work well. I have drove my dads kubota mx5200 and my kioti ck2610 and its a little different between the two, but it doesnt take too much to get used to it and be proficient. I am confused as the 2510 is the only model to my knowledge that is a treadle design. Seems the would keep it the same as the rest of their line, but it may be a design thing or a older design that they kept with. Either way. if your thinking about a ck2510 i would go for it regardless of the hst pedal type

I have a 2510 and I'm thinking its a treadle because of the brake pedals. The other models have one single brake pedal? But the 2510 has the split brakes and there is no room there for your foot for side by side pedals. Just my thoughts.

For me, I found myself way overthinking the treadle pedal vs dual pedal. Once I had used both for a few hours, I forgot about it entirely. Not on my radar at all when purchasing new HST equipment anymore.

I have not used a side by side hst, but have no problem at all with my treadle.

I have had several treadle pedal machines, and my current one is side by side dual pedals. It takes a couple of hours of operation to get used to it, and it is totally a non issue for me. Either work fine.
