Not having snow has severely affected my FEL abilities :) During the off season (no snow) I rarely use my FEL. And yesterday I started a little project and have realized I suck at FEL use b/c I'm so out of practice.

I brush hogged one of my back fields, then used the box blade to scrap/loosen stuff up and then started using the FEL to take off that loose stuff. I suck. I either miss everything, gouge way down in or get nothing in the bucket. Oh man I'm so out of practice. I simply can't get a level scrape 'n load going to save my butt LOL

AAAHHH Don't say the "S" or the "W" word....its still JULY..let the rest of us enjoy the warm weather and not remind us the dredded white stuff.....go find a sand pile to practice on but for the love of god don't wish for the frozen stuff unless its in your drink!!

I can't wait until you get HUGE piles of snow -- maybe then it will drop below 100 here! :D

Since I have a front end snow blower and 250+ inches of snow I never used the FEL in the winter, but I have used it a lot this summer building a retaining wall. Our summers are pretty short here so I prefer to not have the snow any more than we normally do.

The first flakes up there fall in September which is around 8 weeks from now. Won't be long.....

Start a big old compost pile. You can turn it every week and it will give you some FEL time. Not to mention that you end up with a bunch of really good stuff. In late October you can use the FEL to spread that stuff on your garden or lawn.

Here is a picture of snow. Perhaps that might sate your appetite!:D :D :D

Also some ice to make it complete!:D :D :D
