U all saw the quonset hut stunt ...drivin the quonset hut from my "better half's" dad's to here but i've bin steadily takin pics of the process of the renovation of a section of the property nxt 2 the house and the struggles 2 git it level and bif nuff 2 put this 12'x20' quonset on and here is the one of the climactic points in that endeavor!!!!!!a really big rock in the middle of the new roadway!!! ........................................................

don't know how many of u have pulled big ol oak stumps out but "I DONT A HAVE A BHOE!! ok so up here in the sticks this is what u do next when u dont have a bhoe...u dig a ditch 4 drainage...put in 4" of straw..fill with small rocks that are all hand picked out of ditches!!!then cover over with more hay...then back fill with cut!!! most of these rocks have bin saved iand hand picked over time out of gardens ..piles of gravel and then u no whhat!!!

Polecat the next time your down south towards Mississippi I know where there is a niceolder 3poitn thich Arps backhoe its old and needs some WD40 on the control levers and its ready to go. I thought about buying it but now have a backhoe and excavator. Its about a 6 food depth on the rigg i believe a fella could get it for 1200. It does need a few cylinders packed but thats no biggy. What hp is your tractor and I can fid a match for it.

Polecat I'lljust go ahead and adopt you as an honorary Lambert/redneck. I found an older Kelley backhoe without a valve body Im goin back to get the price next week. Im the mississippi version of Junkman lol. I know where a nice 2 axle trailer is for 600 but the only dodges around here are gas 360 gas hogs. Ill look around to see what i can find Im heading to Jasper Alabama next weekend to look at some military surplus junk.
