Never saddle a dead horse

/ Never saddle a dead horse #21
Whats the biggest you have used?
I think those 4-inch chokers were about the biggest I've used, but we only hung them on that frame, then removed them when the job was completed, not like we had to wrestle them every pick.

Now those are shackles.Nice to see a big pick rigged. What were they lifting? As Paul said,'the rest of the story".
I was the rigging foreman on that job. Those were 300-ton chunks of concrete, we stacked them five high 200-feet below the surface, they are 1,500-ton anchors for a floating bridge. We also set these 90-ton anchors. They are 18-feet tall, we jetted them all the way into the ground.

I wasn't involved in this pick, same company I worked for.
