Yes, Netscape has difficulty with some of the latest enhancements to the TBN pages, but the problem is Netscape, not TBN. Same is true for CBN.
Having said that, Netscape is still my browser of preference, but that's probably due mostly to my personal feelings about Micro$oft in general. While Netscape is only is only a partial implementation of what is required for the current HTML standards, Explorer in many cases goes
beyond the standards, or parallels the standards with Micro$oft's own "proprietary" way of doing things.
As you can imagine, this is a pain for web developers. To create anything but the most basic web pages that will work properly on both browsers is quite the challenge these days. I have only recently given in and now cater to Explorer for my own web creations -- not 'cuz I like it, but because that's what the majority of web surfers will use to view my stuff.
In addition to Netscape and Explorer, there are dozens of other browsers out there, too, each with their own quirks, but statistically they don't amount to enough for most developers to worry about.
Standards are a wonderful thing, but it's the old story of leading a horse to water ...
