Needing some serious help

So I was working around in the 4230 and I pulled one of the hydraulic lines to move it around to a better spot(blah blah), I then went to put it back in, it went in and I gave it a little pull to make sure it would stay in. it came back out so I kept trying to get it in better. during the process the assembly went in and locked as if it was connected even though it isn't and now I can not get it to unlock. help? please?

Did you shut the machine off and relieve all the pressure in the lines? 1st
Then grasp the fitting and push it further onto the its mate and pull the collar back. 2nd
The should come apart. If not then I am in the same position as you, stymied.

i had it off and all hydraulics in neutral

should I try starting it to add pressure to try and get it to pop out?

Are these the lines for your loader? If so, try working your valve in all directions several times to allow pressure to bleed off. Also, is the loader on the ground so it is supported? What kind of connectors are you using? Picture would help.

do not currently have pictures, and loader is still completely on the tractor and I only took 1 line off because it was rubbing against my 3 point, unhooked it to re route it so that it wouldn't be rubbing and now can't get it to go in. it's acting like it has a connector in it because the little balls in the tractors connector will not go in, just using factor SCV(I think they are called) connectors

If the loader is supported by the cylinders and not the ground you will have a extremely hard time connecting. Do you know which line you removed? Was it for raising or lowering the boom or the curl cylinder? You will need to get the pressure off the cylinder.

there is absolutely no pressure in the lines, I can push in the ball and fluid come out. im talking about on the back of the tractor, where you connect the line into. that's the bit that is stuck closed. what in pretty much needing to know is, let's say the line is perfectly fine and connected. how do I disconnect a line?
