Kubota B6000
I just purchased a used kubota B7800 and need a front loader for it. I know the kubota LA402 loader fits it but not sure of any other models. If anyone has any leads on a used LA402 or one that will fit with little modification please let me know. Thanks in advance

I've got a woods LS84 loader on my B7800. It works very well and doesn't have that annoying bar that crosses over the fuel fill cap.

How is the quality of the Woods?

Since I use the B7800 primarily without the loader, I can't really say how it will stand up long term under heavy use. The fit and finish is very good. The only part that looks a little light is with the bucket. It uses only a single cyl mounted in the centre for the bucket scoop and dump...similar to the BX loaders. The Kubota models use a cylinder on each arm of the loader. I've got another larger loader tractor I use for my dozer, but the woods has easily done all of the lighter jobs. (Rock picking, spreading mulch etc)

I purchased a Stoll FC350 for my NH1720 this spring...
So far I have been very pleased with the quality and performance...
My local NH dealer here was able to sell it at a very competitive price...
Don't know if you have a dealer close by that carries them but they are a good alternative...

I also have a used b7800 without a loader. My Kubota dealer quoted me $3,500 for the LA402 installed. I am still debating on what to do.

Yea my dealer quoted me without a bucket $3,400 plus tax. Not sure if that was installed or not. Seems kinda expensive to me but i've never bought new equipment before so not really sure.

I don't think the quoted loader prices are out of general range. When I bought my first tractor (used) I bought a loader from the dealer. It was the LA-302 which is two sizes below the LA-402. Installed and after tax I payed $3000 in 2007.

I don't know where you guys are but this was posted here in Maine. I have never seen a complete unit up for sale like that before.

Woods 1008 Loader

Just FYI I have NO affiliation, relationship or shared bath towels with seller.

I've been told that on Kubota loaders... LA402 the number 402 stands for lift capacity in Kilograms... 402 x 2.2 = 884.4 lbs....

This is listed as the official specs...

1,060 lbs. (481 kg) at bucket pivot pin
760 lbs. (400 kg) at bucket center

So I guess it's not the official number but looks like a pretty close number for comparison...

Chris

So will that woods model fit a B7800?

I suppose it might. The B2710/B2910 were the predecessors to the B2630/3030. The same era of design and frame size as the B7800. If you are seriously considering it check with a dealer or with Woods Inc.
