Kubota BX2200
Friends, my Kubota BX2200 will not start. I used it last week and it fired right up after being dormant for a few months. This morning, I turned the key. The starter engaged and the engine turned over strong but would not catch. I kept this up for a few minutes without success. The battery tested just fine. I added fuel and checked the oil. All good. But when I reconnected the battery and turned on the ignition, the glow light did not illuminate not did I get that glow light sound. Curiously, the fuel gauge went dead. The tractor is outside, and it has been cold here on the coast of Maine, but no more so than last week when I had no issues at all. Perhaps a fuel line issue?
Rather discouraging not to have the tractor and FEL operational as we are expecting in the range of 2' of snow with drifting from winds up to 70mph. Appreciate any help.

from what other people have been posting on here it sounds like the fuel gelled or froze up.

I was thinking about that as well. I brought out the hair drier but am embarrassed to admit did not know where to concentrate the heat. Unfortunately, with my FEL in a down position, I can not push it into my garage which is heated. Suggestions?

UPDATE: Engine fired up. But now I have no hydraulics, and the machine makes an unpleasant noise when I move it. Checking fluid levels.

Is your transmission fluid level good ?

When you got the engine fired up did you let it warm up for awhile before trying the hydraulics ?

One thing I do once the engine is running is engage my pto and let it turn my 3pt snow blower.
(Do you know how to have the pto running and not have to be in the operators seat ? It should be in your owners manual.
I'm not farmiliar with how to do it on a BX.) (On my B7800 I just have to get my operators seat in the flipped up position, fairly quickly after not sitting on the seat.[/I
])

It probably doesn't do allot but it will get the oil in the transmission area moving a little.
I let it run like that for 5 or 10 minutes, before I move my loader up, so I can back out of my garage.

Even if you don't have anything on the pto it's not going to hurt to get it turning and might help move some of those transmission fluids around.
