No, haven't contacted those dealers as I have been trying not to venture beyond 50 radius. Today is the day I will be contacting the dealers and hopefully will be able to get specs/prices/warranty/etc via email, put it all into a spreadsheet to come up with a short list... From there make appointments to visit the top 3 to check out the machines and dealership... From there to ask the #1 dealer to bring out a machine to test on the property...
In my spreadsheet I am also evaluating the dealerships to see how easy or difficult it is in contacting them over the phone and speaking with someone, if I have difficulty now in their responsiveness then that problem is not going to go away after I spend $15k or more in trying to get service or solve problems..
I agree with many of the members here when they say the most important thing is the dealership when selecting a tractor because for all intent and purpose you are married to that dealership after the sale for all service and support. Kind of like buying a home in an HOA or Condo situation - could have bought a fantastic home meeting all your needs at a great price but then afterwards find the people running the HOA/Condo make living there an expensive living **** and you're stuck.
I am seriously considering Yanmar since the JD 2210 has a Yanmar engine which has really held up to much use and sometimes abuse on my property (don't know if the HST in the 2210 was made by Yanmar or not). Will be calling them and MF today, already contacted Kioti yesterday and they were supposed to be emailing me today some information.
