Good work so far. I'd closely inspect the big tree at the property/fence corner. Can't see it well enough, but it looks to be greatly imbalanced with all leaders going in toward property - maybe due to overhead power lines? Look for rot in the crotches and any insect damage. Cut out whatever is bad or lighten the lean by removing one or more leaders. JMHO, as a former tree surgeon....

You are absolutely right. This area is a fairly continuous slope downward to the west. Luckily I am on the higher side ( my neighbor ALWAYS has standing water in his pasture ) The area where that massive tree is has another pretty significant dropoff; however I think on that side Ill need to bring in some dirt and even it up because it is probably a 3' or greater elevation difference.

Nice job. As a new tractor owner, you haven't yet learned that any project worth doing is worth buying a new tool or implement for

Of course the buying is easy but the storage is gonna cost you extra!

That looks good, and you are probably realizing how addictive running your tractor is. I have to admit that when I first read your original post I thought it said an 18 foot cliff, and thought it was a rather ambitious undertaking.

Eighteen foot cliff - I would have recommended drilling deep holes - 2" in diameter and using dynamite. I've had that exact thing done to one of my basaltic lava outcroppings - WHAT A BLAST. The blaster & I were 1/4 mile away and crap still came whizzing past. Thank God - we were well ensconced under his pickup. Nobody got hurt - no vehicle damage and the seven foot high outcropping was blasted to smithereens.
