Need Tire Advice

I have a small crane on a dodge chassis that has 7.50 x17.5 tires on it. New tires that size are relatively expensive . I found some auto transport trailer tires that are10x17.5. Will this width fit on my wheels do you think? I don't know the wheel width, only the tire width on them.

Sounds like it could be dicey, especially if there's any bit of weight on them. Might it be cheaper/possible to get new 17" or 18" wheels and tires?

Get the right tire. Its not worth the risk.

That's a question you should ask the tire company. Also, are the tires designed for trailer use only, or will they work on a truck?
