need service manual

Can anybody tell me where I can purchase a service manual for a mitsubishi 1401d that is not in chinese

Were you able to find a manual for the tractor in Japanese?

A google search for "Mitsubishi MT1401 service manual" gives the first result as a website that advertises manuals for this tractor. (They are not a site sponsor, so I don't think I'm supposed to link there directly. The manual is $98 plus $8 shipping. I suspect the MT160 is the US version of the MT1401, though I don't know that for sure. There are numerous copies of the MT160 manual on ebay.

What is wrong with your tractor?

I tried to order one from there, it was a discontinued item.
the hydraulics on the three point quit working,but the front hydraulics still work fine.
the tractor is kumaii 1401d built by Mitsubishi is the yanmar 1401d also a Mitsubishi?
I will look into the mt160 thanks for the info

The Yanmar and Mitsubishi 1401Ds are as different and similar as Ford/Chevy/Dodge half ton pickups. They are not the same or made by the same companies. Having said that, they are much more similar than different, and generally operate on exactly the same principles.

Does anybody know where the hydraulice filter is on this Mitsubishi MT1401?
And where the bolt is when you unscrew it, you can fill hydraulics till it comes out here.

Pffft, the MT160/MT180 is different. ( i have this manual)

Filter--Opposite where the suction line attaches to the rearend housing.
check plug---------- left side half way up.
Gear boxes are usually filled half full.
I can supply the closest manual & parts books.
