Need Rear Remote for my 1710

Hello Folks,

I need to add a rear remote for my 1984 Ford 1710. If you can help please let me know. Oh and if you are wondering what the Galvanized pipe is???? It was there when I bought the tractor in 1996.

Adding a single spool valve to that tractor is a relatively simple matter. That is unless you want all factory parts, levers, lines, etc, and expect it to look all original. Then it could get complicated. If you just need a practical way to put a set of couplers on the back then it's not bad at all.

Yep, I get that. Don't need it to be orginal. Aftermarket/ home made works for me. Just need someone to make one that fits my 1710. Saw one on this forum that a person made... looks great. Sent a msg to him but no response yet.

There's really not much to make, except for whatever support/bracket you need for the valve to bolt to, and maybe something to attach your couplers.

I SORT OF HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. I WANT TO INSTALL REAR REMOTES BUT DON'T KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT HYDROLIC SYSTEMS. I'M THINKING TAP INTO PB LINE, RUN A LINE FROM THERE TO HYD. VALVES, THEN FROM VALVES BACK TO TANK. THEN LINES FROM VALVE TO REAR QUICK ATTACH. I CAN DO THE WRENCHING, BUT NOT SURE IF THAT IS ALL I NEED TO DO. ANY HELP PLEASE. A SCHEMATIC WOULD BE GREAT. ALSO WHAT IS "PM" AND WHERE DO I FIND IT? THANKS
