need rear brakes on mf 65

Hello onmy 65 I need to redo the brakes plan on putting all new parts and seals how big of a job is it to do ???

Its not to big of a job as long as you have some mechanical ability and a service manual to guide you through.

To me the biggest issue was handling the loaded rear tire on our MF 135. I needed a second person for that part of the job. The rest was like doing drum brakes on a truck or car. I am guessing the MF 65 isn't a lot different.

I did mine last year if you have an engine lift it is not to bad a job the brakes are inside the axle housing you have to split it of the differential housing when you get it removed you will see a plate that has to machine screws holding it on remove them and you can get at the brakes when I did mine I replace the seals and some bearings that were pitted. The engine lift makes it much easier as the castings are very heavy if you don't have one I would rent one
