I totally agree. WHY paint something that is in constant contact with the ground when in use. Unless of course you plan to hang it on the wall and admire it from now on. A bit of rust isn't going to harm the metal, not likely to rust a hole in it like a lawnmower deck. I think lots of folks tend to think like a piece of ground engaging equipment should be shined and polished like a classic car. My thoughts are that if you use it enough it will stay polished and shiny all the time.Why are you worried about touching up the paint on something that is essentially the cutting edge on a loader bucket?
