Amazing!! Thanks so much! The original post did have the plate with the serial # in it, So we'll start there again :) The seller told us it was a MF40... all this extra info will be great

No problem, that's what we're here for.

I'm not even sure if Massey Ferguson even has a new construction/industrial line of equipment anymore, so best to use the OEM part number from those online parts books. You can call your local MF dealer and give them that part number and see if they can get it. Otherwise, Google is a great place to enter a part number and see what results you get. Maintenance items such as filters will probably cross through NAPA's online parts store.

Anymore, Ag. parts counter people can't even find common farm equipment parts on their computer setting in front of them. More than likely a certain model is in the parts system, they just can't seem to find it. Give them the OEM part number to enter, and it will usually pop up, and may even open the link to a complete parts book for the entire machine. Definitely keep the serial number and give that to them too as there may have been different parts used at certain serial number breaks.
