Need Jd mx7 aftermarket gear box

Anyone know of a new aftermarket gear box for a jd mx7 or what the difference is between a jd part # de19766 and a de19767 jd gear boxes

I don't know the answer to your question as I don't have access to any mowers presently, but that said, many of the manufacturers use an aftermarket box.
Check with DN Equipment by googling. They have a lot if mower stuff.

The housings are different as well as the bevel gears have different teeth count.
