Hi TBN!
Looking to replace the seals in the right front hub casing of my 1986 build 1210 w/ 4WD and I'm not sure how to tell which casing my 1210 has: SBA322011901 or 902? Parts dealer said the part is cast into the casing but the only number in the casing looks like 2Z 0A 33? (pic) Can anyone determine which casing I have by this? Any advice is appreciated ! Thanks, Pat

I assume that this question relates to part 27 in the front axle diagram which shows two different casings (part 11) and two different seals (part 27).

Looking at the parts options for the seals, it appears that the seal for the SBA322011901 casing has 38mm inner diameter (Seal # SBA050600038) while the seal for the SBA322011902 casing has a 35mm diameter (Seal # SBA050609043).
One way to figure out which casing you have would be to disassemble the hub and measure the diameter of the casing at the seal. The 3mm difference should be easy to determine.
I think that the four bolts holding the hub up can be removed and the assembly dropped just enough to expose the part of the casing that needs to be measured. It should be possible to do this and then reassemble so that there is minimal down time while waiting for the correct seal part to arrive. I would use a small floor jack under the hub to lower it down in a controlled manner. These are heavy.
