need help with removing glass from soil.

Know what you mean. I am constantly picking up glass, plastic and all sorts of misc metal. Lots of old nails everywhere. In the wood behind the old farm house, its full of trash where past residents just dumped it there. It would take a lifetime to clean it all. I just pick it up as I go. Good luck.

i have like 5 spots where I just place 5 gallon buckets and pick it up in my travels , its funny how i just comes out of nowhere. good thing its only about 1 acre area thats infested

I don't remember the numbers, but much hotter than a wood fire typically burns. You would need a forge or something.

You know what, come to think of it, the number I am remembering looking up is when sand turns to glass, not when glass melts. Forget I said anything.

Plus, earth is a good insulator so penetration would be a problem.

I too have these issues, there is/are 4 or 5 bad places on my 22 acres that are full of glass rusted fence & barb wire or metal dumped junk. old appliances dumped into washed out spots etc... The creek gets lots of glass washing down as well from neighbors place.
