( Do you think that headphones would be a good idea? I always like to be able to hear the tractor engine and listen to the implements in case theres' any audible indications of trouble, but thats just me )
I use headphones while setting in my operators platform on my NH7610s. PEr the manual it runs about 89db at pto rpm and it's close according to my meter. I use big muff style headphones.. blocks the roar and lets me use low volume onthe radio.
I get all the info I need from the vibrations on the steering wheel, and just setting in the seat and from my feet on the deckplates, along with the gauges, etc. Squeals and 'bangs' still come thru the headphones fine.
