Can anyone give me any help on a John Deere 750. I have an oil leak, not that bad, but its where the tach/hour meter cable screws in the block behind the radiator. It was seeping a little and I just thought it was a little loose. I tightened it up and thought that would eliminate the problem. But it didn't.
Now I'm wondering if it has a small O ring or some kind of seal that has just worn out. I don't have any manuals except for the owners, and it does not mention things like this.
Thanks for any and all help.
It is a 81 model that I bought new and has about 1100 hours on it. Never had one minutes trouble out of it, but I guess with time anything is bound to need more care....

Welcome to TBN Don:D

JDParts does not show a o-ring, but I would bet there is one in there-or at least a rubber gasket.
