I have had my 4110 for 7 or 8 years now and have had very little trouble with it. Yesterday my father was using it and after running it for a while it just lost power, like it was not getting fuel. After letting it sit for a while he was able to get it back to the shop. Today, I was using it and after about 15 or 20 minutes of tilling the garden it did it again. I was running it about 1800 rpms and it just seem to start losing power with the throttle position never changing. I replaced the fuel filter and tried it again. It ran fine for about 15 minutes and did the same thing. This time I noticed the tachometer also stopped working correctly. It went to 0 rpms but the tractor was still running but losing power at this time. After letting it sit for a little while I started it up and it ran fan while putting it in the shop. Is there a fuel pump that supplies the injector pump, and if so where is it located? I hope the injector pump is not going out. Not sure what is going on. any help, suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated.

This was posted by civesnedfield on another thread and it might help you fix your problem.

Take off the primary filter, then open the fuel shut off to see what kind of flow you have from the fuel tank. If the flow is not good chances are you have a clogged strainer in the tank.

This problem was on a different model and the set up is different on your tractor, but I was thinking that your problem may be an abstruction in the tank. Check your fuel flow at different points along your fuel line. Also, the temperature guage isn't getting up there is it? Make sure the tractor isn't overheating. Let us know what you find.

Just an update. Took the air filter out and blew it out with compressed air. It was dirty, but not what I would consider stopped up. Ran the tractor for about 30 min and it ran fine. Started raining so I had to stop. Will run it longer when it dries out. Hopefully that was all it was. Will keep everyone up to date. Thanks for all the replies.
