Need help putting on my Hydrolic lines on my loader John Deere 2520

Hello, I'm trying to put the two lift lines on and it appears over the winter the hydraulic must have settled in the cylinders creating pressure at the end and now I cannot get the lines on. The bucket tilt lines went right on. I remember reading this issue on here before and thinking I never had that problem, now I do and cannot find the thread. thanks

Wiggle all the hyd valve levers with engine off.

Take the male QD and push it against a hard surface, using a rag to cover the QD.

Use a brass hammer to tap the ball or poppet to release some fluid.

To avoid this in the future, do as JJ suggests and move the control handle around with the engine off before you remove the lines. This will depressurize them.

Thanks Bill, I usually do that before I diconnect them with all attachments. Maybe I forgot last year. I am going out this morning to try it again. I will let you guy know how it goes. Thanks for the suggestions.

If it is sitting in the sun , that can build pressure also .

Got it. It still wasnt easy, but I made sure the fittings were clean and released the pressure a bit in the lines and finally got it. Thanks to all that took the time to help and make suggestions.
