Does anyone have experience with an ag utility fork and grapple. These are the kind with multiple tines pointing forward on the bottom and a grapple that closes over the top. I have about 150 acres of pasture with lots of cedar trees. I want to use my skid steer with a tree shear to cut them and then use the utility fork/grapple on my JD 3720 to pile the trees and burn later. I plan to have an operator for both the tree shear and 3720. The large trees I will drag and the smaller carry in the grapple.
How well do these tined forks hold up? A heavy duty grapple weighs nearly 900-1000 lbs and the tined forks with grapple weigh about 550 lbs.
