Not sure of the question.

From the Pic's it would appear the teeth are mounted on a cutting edge.:)

I ensure you there isnt an cutting edge on this bucket, its clearly displaying the bucket without cutting edges but with the teeth only

From the picture posted I'd bet that when the teeth are removed there is a welded on cutting edge. I've never seen short weld-on cutting edges.

ok i understans what you mean, the factory cutting edge/blade was removed to install the teeth. Now my question is does JCB make a cutting edge / blade that goes between the teeth like cat does?

And said cutting edge is welded to the bucket. It's as plain as day.
I know of no one that sells a bucket without some sort of edge on it, either bolt-on or welded. Look on the bottom of the bucket and see if there are wear strips.

Curious what JCB says.

I believe what he is looking for is small pieces of cutting edge that will now bolt on between the teeth. Not sure where you are located but if you get the spacing of the holes and length of each cutting edge needed you may be able to order them. I've used a company called Genalco that is close to me for stuff like this.

Try drilling a 1/4 inch hole in the edge where the teeth are bolted on and then on the bucket bottom farther back from the edge. Should tell what's what.:)

Well, AF Dirtboy never did say what JCB said. I would have called JCB first to see if anything like that was available for their bucket, then Googled around for "bolt-on cutting edge", THEN hit the message boards. IMHO :confused3:

Personally, I think the gap between the teeth is too small to support a bolt-on cutting edge. That would be the part you would want to add more hard facing, not drilling more holes to weaken it.
