Would one of these numbers help to identify approx year of my B6100E?

So neither? Where do I need to find the numbers then, Ive read that no way to positively identify right down to month of production but cant I get close?

To be honest Mate, I'd drop an PM or eMail to our good friends at MESSECKS.

I tried to find it, to no avail.

B6100 was only made from 1978 to 1984 and probably had very little design change during that interval. Do you need it more exact than that?

I went to the dealer today and gave him tractor serial # of 17094 as shown above, he gave me print out that shows original selling dealer, buyers name, sale date of 10/25/83.

Id like to find a listing for the engine serial number which is 184397 as shown above if anyone can help.

Im curious to know how close the engines production date is too the sale date.

I was told the tractor was a 1980.
