need help guys...JD 3120 Ehydro throttle friction problem.....

Throttle on my 2006 Ehydro 3120 keeps going down.....heard that there is a friction adjustment behind the right side of console...If I keep my hand on the throttle, all is fine but when i let go, it idles down.......If there is in fact a throttle adjustment for friction on the lever, is the cowling hard to come off to get to it? Thanks!

I can't answer the cowling removal question, but you need to tighten the bolt (#31) to provide more tension, also inspect the washers (#3) for wear.

I had to adjust that throttle setting too, and now with rear tire chains I'm thinking it is time for another "adjustment" after 10 years -- tightening of the nut (#6) behind the spring (#5) - - (or do something with the one behind the steering wheel )
