Yes, there is a SPECIAL QD for propane that you won't find at your air/hydraulic supplier. look for Hansen gas QD connectors.
e.g.,
Hansen Gas-Mate II Quick Disconnect - 9800

Thanks much, removing the regulator on the grill works! got it up to 525 degrees vs 300 degrees w/ the regulator on it...
