Might try googling Messicks, one of this site's sponsors. They seem to provide good support to Kubota owners.

1) $1181 for a simple metal fuel tank like that is utterly absurd.
2) I have two B2150's. The tank location is simple and very accessible. ****, you could have one custom made for less than $1181 !!
3) First, check around among the 8 or 10 large salvage yards -- you might luck out and find a used tank.
4) It would not be too surprising to find other (Non-B2150) tanks that would work. Armed with the dimensions just see what you can find at salvage yards.
5) You might luck out and find a disabled B2150 that you could use for parts. Sell the rest if you lack storage space.

Original poster didn't specify why he needed a new tank. If it's leaking, I'd be tempted to remove it and see if it could be welded to repair it. Or I know a motorcycle restoration guy that when he had leaking tanks, he had some plastic goopy stuff that he would pour into the tank, slosh it around awhile, then drain the excess. Fixed um.

I assumed it was a plastic tank, not metal. If my plastic tank were to start leaking, I'd take it out and try to epoxy it fix the leaks.

$1100 sounds criminal to me................................... But that's just me.

There are many ways of repairing tanks.

If metal, solder and acid flux along with solder iron and or plumbers torch will do the job. (most radiator shops can accomplish that job if you can't or don't want to)

If plastic then a hot iron and suitable fill material usually fixes the problem.
I have even used hot glue gun with success on some plastic tanks.
