I have a John Deere LX279 with a Kawaski water cooled engine. The fuel pump started leaking so I replaced it. Failed to record the routing of gas line input to the pump and output to carb. Need to know on this model is the gas routed into the carb on the lower nipple or the top one? I hooked it up and it ran untill the float emptied or some other unknown reason and it lost power and died.
