Need Disc Mower suggestion!

Hello fellow farmers,
I am new to the forum, just found it and what I read looked good.
We are looking to buy a disc mower. We have a Ford 3230 tractor. We went from a cycle mower to a New Idea 527 disc mower last year and loved it, my dad sold it for a profit. We have looked at the New Holland 615 (really like it), New Idea (agpro) as a replacement since we prefer the cutter bar shaft verses the gears across the cutter bar. We am looking for some fellow farmers' advice. Please help. We are located in east TN. Thanks

You do not have to go far the HayMagnum disc mowers are made here in East TN and are shaft driven.

I have an older Krone model (german made). I bought it used for $650.00 from family. I've used it 4 years and no problems. I'd say it was 10-12 years old when I bought it. It also has flailers the hay passes through. This works almost as well as a conditioner. You can't travel quite as fast as you can with a regular disk mower, but you can usually put the hay up a day early with the quicker drying time, especially in heavy hay.
To be honest, I've not heard anything bad about any of the brands.
