Need conversion info for Kubota 7200 Tractor

Under a cover on top of the drive train there is a filter marked HYDRAULIC FILTER FILSTER HST HH660 36030 and I would like to find out if Fram makes this filter under their name. I was able to find out there was a Fram oil filter 3593A for the engine and Mobil Corporation told me the ideal engine oil was Mobil Delvac 10W-30 Extreme and I have installed new oil filter and the Delvac.

I went to seven auto supply places and they could not even find the above oil and finally I stopped at Advance Auto Parts in Aiken, SC and they said they could have it for me by 0900 the following morning so I ordered three gallons and picked it up the next morning and three filters from Wally World.

Can anyone tell me how to convert a Kubota number to a Fram? Thanks much.

You may be able to cross to Baldwin or Fleetguard / Cummins, but I doubt you will find anything from Fram.
The Baldwin or Cummins filters are quality filters, but will likely be a similar price as an oem Kubota filter.

I personally use oem hydraulic and transmission filters on my equipment.

I did another search and it came up PH3682 Fram for the switch from Hydraulic FILTER FILSTER HST HH660 36030. I will be glad when my owners manual arrives.

Your are taking a big chance on using that Fram filter. Fram lists it for various Kubota engine applications on their www site. It likely simply has the same diameter and thread size as the hydraulic filter. Size and thread do not make a hydraulic filter.

I have been to Aberdeen Proving Grounds to look at the tanks on display, if I'm thinking of the same base. Interesting place!

Yep we had plenty of tanks there and the third largest air force in the world with the number of aircraft stored there.

FRAM filters will stop anything over 5 microns. Might be interesting to contact Kubota and ask what micron level theirs will pass.
