Need cab for 990 JD

If it's the same cab as a 790 (which I think it is), you're basically out of luck in the new cab market unless you want a Sims.
Sims was way overpriced in my opinion. So much so that I wound up trading the JD in on a new B3030 HSDCC. A little extreme, maybe. But I sure do like that factory heat when running a 60" snowblower in breezy conditions!
I priced the Sims (with shipping and NYS tax) at about $3100. And this thing has vinyl doors and no heater. I couldn't see it.

Yes. And did my own hand blown, ground and shaped glass for the cab. All in the comfort and privacy of my own garage in a single afternoon!

Sprinkler, Have you looked whether Curtis Cabs makes for your machine? I have a Curtis Cab on my JD 4500 and I purchased the heater for it too. It's made of heavy metal and plexiglass for windshield. I love the thing, it's nice to clear my drive and neighbor's drive and not be cold. Just a thought. Good luck. Roger

Not extreme at all...not a day goes by I'm not happy with my 3520 Cabbed machine...this past weekend I was sicker then a dog and HAD to snowblow...was actually more warm & cozy in the cab then it was in the house...This morning I'm feeling better, but not 100% and had to spend another 1.5 hours snowblowing 24" of snow...
