Need baler help

john deere 458. I did all 1st cutting hay. Now today sometimes i can do 20 bales, then maybe 2, then maybe 5, then 10. The net wrap keeps wrapping around the rubber roller. In the book it says to loosen the roller, i kept doing that, now you can turn the rubber roller and the steel roller doesn't move. So it doesn't have too much pressure, but why is it still doing this?

Sounds like the brake needs to be adjusted. It is on the left side of the baler on the back.

The rubber roller needs to be cleaned with mineral spirits or other solvent. And the net wrap roll needss to be dusted with talc. Put the roll tension back to spec.
