Sickle Bar need advise on New Idea 522 sickle bar

I am cutting about 5 acres of straw and I was able to borrow a New Idea 522 sickle bar from a friend. I have broken a blade off while cutting too close to the woods. I went to TSC last night and bought the blades and rivets. I can't seem to figure out how to get the bar off the mower so I can replace the missing blades. Is anyone familiar with this model? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Attached is a page from New Idea No. 522 Manual. It shows the knife pin and how to remove it. When the knife pin is removed you can slide the sickle out and replace the knife sections.

I have a new Kiotie DK45 and am having a problem getting the sickle adjusted to cut Bahia Grass. So if you have any suggetion let me know.

Thanks for getting back to me on the help! I have only cut orchard grass and barley stalks so far with mine. However, I have noticed some things I was doing wrong with experimenting with the adjustments. If you are cutting barley or wheat stalks after the combine goes through, always cut against the way the combine cut and keep the bar flat on the ground. If you are cutting a stalk like bermuda grass that is thin, I would make sure all the blades and guides are in good condition as well as the wear plates and tilt the bar up a little in the front.
