Need advise on buying a subsoiler

I have a JD 6330 (105 hp) and I want to buy a used subsoiler. I have some fields that just have a ton of compaction and need to be broken up. I have a five shank Massey Ferguson chisel plow with coulters on the front and have learned not all chisel plows are created equal. So first question is am I likely to be able to pull only a two shank or perhaps a three shank? Second question what are some good models to look for this winter? Thanks.

Have you looked at a Deere 913 V ripper? There are lots of brands out there but something this size should work for you.

Bush Hog recommends 35hp per shank. I'd guess you could handle a 3 shank model with 105hp.
