I go to Hoover's quite often, very nice folks with a well equipped show room.
Doesn't sound like a bad deal to me, hopefully the 30 will work well for you. The first Kioti I ever looked at was a used 35 that they had on their lot.

With the 2375, you are gaining a foot of reach. While you might lose a little force, the extra reach is probably worth it. I've found that reach is often the limiting factor on these small backhoes.

I'd say go for the CK30. The one thing I would do is ask him to pull the kit off and see if the loader is already cracked. If it is, I'd be looking to use that to bargain down a few hundred. I'd also want to know this before I bought it. Not saying it would be a deal breaker, but I'd want to know.

that's cheap peace of mind - and a nice upgrade!
Sounds like a great dealer to be working with!
if you have the $$ I vote you take the offer.

I just want to point out that the $2500 is about the difference between those 2 machines as new, maybe even a little less. While, the CK30 has a little less hours, it's not some super deal there that the dealer is making you. Maybe a fair deal, but far from a big savings either, except that he's willing to give you "full credit" for the "lemon" he sold you to begin with. Not saying the dealer isn't being as helpful as he can. Just want you to understand the real "value" of this deal before you make it.

the way I see it, the dealer is doing a very good job of "making it right".
While $2500 is an appropriate retail difference in price between the 2 models, the dealer is getting a known "lemon".
he's giving full retail trade value towards a larger and more capable machine with a bigger backhoe (with no slop in the controls) and a toothbar.
The "new" machine has 300+ hours less on the meter.

While it sucks to have gone through the nightmare he has, and shelling out extra $$ to get away from it is a bit of a bite, the dealer is taking a bigger bite in getting a machine that's either not going to sell for much or is going to eat up a lot of materials and labor before it can be resold.
