Mowing need advice for cultivation in wet lands

Hellow everyone, recently i bought a new mahindra yuvraj 215 for my paddy field. But it cannot culvilate nor till the land and it keep stuckingi in the wet lands. I have attached a steel wheel but the problem is still there. Need some urgent advice as the session is passing by.

I think you may not get a lot of help from this group as not many folks here dabble in a rice paddy. Mahindra tractors are know for their heavy weight so it may not have been the best choice for a paddy tractor. I have seen pictures of how paddy farmers attach a very long pipe to the tractor rim with paddle on it so it helps "float the tractor" and provide traction. I assume this is what you meant by steel wheel. Perhaps your steel wheel needs to extend out a bit further or be of larger diameter to hold the extra weight of the Mahindra.

If steel puddling wheels or duel puddling wheels don't work, you may look into tractor tracks. They are a bit pricey, but would probably work. When I lived in South East Asia everyone used Water Buffalo. I guess that was a live time away. Hope you find a remedy.

My first choice would be to try chains; we used them on 2WD trucks during goose-season (years ago) and they work miracles. From there, I would work up to metal attachments that look like squirrel-cage fans, then flotation-tires for upwards of $2K each.

I got a tank stuck in a Korean rice paddy, that stunk! We chained large cross-ties to the tracks for self recovery.
