Sounds like your head gasket blew...do not run it anymore. Get it to a dealer and have it replaced under warranty. Sorry for you troubles, but the head gaskets are a known problem and the new kit will come with an up-graded gasket. Mine went at 700 hrs, dealer had it a week & fixed under warranty.

I called a dealer here in maine thats a hour away. Told him what was happening and said water in the fuel . To cut it 50/50 with diesel and K1 and let it run for a half hour. Just did that now letting it cool down later i will go out and try starting and see it it dose it . Theres no more water coming out of the muffler. If that dose do it it will cost $500.00 for them to pick it up and bring it back. No cash to do that.

Hmmmm, that would have to be a heck of a lot of water. Easy to to check, take off your fuel filter, pour what's in it into a clear glass jar. Water sinks to the bottom...easy to spot.

I still think you have a blown head gasket.....but I hope I'm wrong. If it is, beg or borrow a truck & trailer or have a friend haul it for you. No way would I pay $500 to trailer my tractor to the dealer. Too bad I'm not closer, I'd come do it for ..ohhh, let's say a case of beer:D

Did you call Batchelder's?

Batchelder Sales
Address 1511 Carl Broggi Hwy
Lebanon ME 04027 USA
Phone 207-339-2147

Go to the Kioti website and click on dealers...a zip code search shows 6 of them within 100 miles from you...I'd call 'em all and get transport quotes.

I suggest you call your selling dealer back and insist they take care of whatever the problem turns out to be. You have a better chance of Kioti Corporate supporting you if you commit to your selling dealer. they made the profit now it's time to stand behind the warranty. DO NOT allow them to blow you off- they are obligated to fix your problem.

MotorSeven,
Can you say more about these tractor having head gasket problems? I was aware of the DK-55 series but not the DK-40s.

Got tired with the run around with my dealer where i bought it . And tired of connie. So idid what dealer in maine said to do. 50/50 mix and ran it for a 1/2 hr shut it off waited couple hours went back out started with no issue . Will see what it dose in the morning. Now there is no water coming out of the muffler. I did take video with my iphone wont let me post it so people could see and hear what it was doing . But if dose it again i need to figure out how to get it to the dealer. Sad like the tractor but thinking i should have kept my 28 yr old Massey . Wont buy another kioti again not because of the tractor it's the dealer and connie. 4yr warranty my -ss.

Forget about Connie. You are a resourceful guy who can figure out a way to get it to your selling dealer if necessary. You may have had trouble with them in the past but your 4 year warranty is something we here on TBN will do our best to see it is warranted, and repaired, as it is what Kioti owes you as their customer.
Contact the dealer owner tomorrow and request his help.

I would rather not have to figure a way to get it to new jersey. As when they delivered it with gashed tires in the back . I don't trust they would fix it any way. Tired of the stress there giving me i would rather find a kioti dealer here to fix it and give them the business. As my gramp says i gave them two many chances in the past to make it good with out a fight. Tires, 3pt hitch problem .

Thought it was a local Maine dealer. You know best as to what's going to work for you- so I guess a local dealer is the way to go for you.

Going from foggy memory here, but according to my dealer, the CK20/40/45/50/55 all get up-graded head gaskets when they come in for repair. He has repaired mostly the Ck20 series and a few of the DK's. If I remember correctly the bad gaskets did not have a infused metal, & the new one's do.

$500 to haul a tractor 200 miles round trip is not acceptable....imho.

LAK, I bought my Dk40 from Whittemores and Sons. They treated me very good during my first six months when my tractor had a reoccurring hydro leak. Hopefully they treat you as good as the treat me. Goog luck.

I have never auctually done buisness with them. I have only called for parts prices. Parts guy was very helpful but parts were quite a bit above prices stated on this forum. I would go to them in a heartbeat if I had too, but I would try to get a firm price on anything not covered by your warranty. Like you, they are my closest dealer.

So it look like i wont be bringing it to the dealer. I thought it was weird that someone suggested the head gasket there is no sign of leaking into the oil the oil is clean and radiator fluid is fine. So started it to today no issues started fine no water coming out no white smoke i think i had a bad batch of diesel after darning the Tank again and new diesel and k1 mix runs fine. So i wont take it for now will see how it is when it gets cold again. If it has a hard time then i will bring it.
