I've never seen hub weights like these. I'm guessing they're for 28" loop rims.Thought someone close to them might be interested. (not mine)FORD 600 TRACTOR HUB-WEIGHTS

CL ads like that drive me nuts:

Wheel weights: what do you think the most important criteria about something that is supposed to add weight? Yea, you guessed it - the weight of the dang thing!

Unless, of course, the "600-800" does refer to the weight and not the tractor model; in that case, I'm a dumb****. Oops.

FTG, I'm thinking they're industrial tractor weights. By my "not so educated guess", I'd say they'd be around 250 to 350 lb a side with the option to add more smaller weights as indicated by the three boltholes on the outside face. It looks like a clean mounting weight system to me. The ad poster probably don't have a clue as to the weight JMHO. I believe I'd rather have those weights than the pie weights I have on my 600.

They are ford industrial 600 lb weights. They are for 6 loop 28" rims. They were only available from 1958-1960. You could add the industrial stackable plate weights as seen here on my 640. They require special lug nuts. They are sold.
Jim,
You are probably better off with pie weights cause you can add or take weights off when you need to easily.

Thanks Kirk, never seen those weights before. Currently I'm running 6 weights per side with a little less than half tire of fluid. Got access to more pie weights to make a full set. Just haven't done it yet. I figure,I will remove all fluid from the rear tires if I go with the full set. After all, it's just a 600. What are your thoughts on over weighting the tractor? jim

Ford sez not to run the HD pies on the 600. I probably would run them and wouldn't worry about it but then again I always working on tractors so if something goes wrong I have no problem fixing it. I'm running a set of light weights on my 8n and will probably change over to heavy weight once I put the one arm loader on. I have a friend who runs the HD pies on his 8n for a few years and hasn't had a problem so far. Look at it this way with the fluid in the tires you are probably running almost that weight now. Empty the fluid and add the pie weights should make a difference. May be someone else has a different opinion on this subject.

Kirk,I'm running the lighter pie weights at 30 lb a segment. Ford had one heavier size pie weight that if I remember correctly weighed around 45 lb a segment. I'm kinda thinking like you about if I let the fluid out, it will be close to the same weight as full weights with dry tires. I'll look and see if I can find where I read that about the other weights. If a 8n will handle the full set of pies, surely a 600 will. jim
