The guy at the local tire store always tells the 'plugs destroy tires' story.. and they only offer patches.. etc.

On the flip side.. the heavy equipment tire place that does service calls, plugs them if tubeless, or patches/replaces the tube, then patches the casing on the inside to prevent pinching.. either that or they put a boot in, or a piece of the old tube over the hole.. etc.

Probably another one of those endless debate stories.
