So Yesterday I was checking the hydraulic oil, something I have not done for a few months, ( I changed the pump a few months ago, and the oil looked clean. The little NAA does not get used that much, and the hydraulic oil was milky. I had found this a few years ago and changed all the fluids. So today I drained the transmission, hydraulic and differential, and am letting them set with a good bit of off road diesel in the reservoirs, planning to drain, blow out and refill tomorrow. Also the oil in the transmission was milky. Differential looked good. So is this condensation? I cannot imagine any other way to get water in there. Any ideas and/or preventions?

If the gearshift boot is old and the tractor is kept outside, water will migrate into the case.

Boot would be 67 years old. So yeah, good call. I will be ordering that tonight. Thanks!
