For stump grinding, I'm hoping to be able to operate everything by just looking at the monitor, thus keeping my neck from getting stiff. The grinder would be in the blind spot of the side mirrors. That said, there might be a need for side mirrors for other operations, but I figured I'd start out with just the rear camera.

The SG100 stump grinder cuts in only one direction, so I'm hoping to be able to setup the SCV that operates the left-right sweep cylinder for auto-kick out. With the restrictor inline (see pick below) with that cylinder, it should limit the speed appropriately, so on each pass, I just have to adjust how far I drop the wheel, depending on what type of wood I'm grinding.

Sorry, nothing particularly insightful to add. Just wanted to say congratulations and that a 5M series machine coming off of the delivery trailer would most definitely be my last trip to the JD sales dept.

As far as tractors are concerned, I sure would like to think that will be the case for me! As far as implements, I hope that will be the case, but I won't bet the farm on it.

Being tractor less for 3 months is going to suck. I suppose I'll have to make do riding around on my LT166 when I get the urge.

Nope, just when my 5420 comes back from my dealer from repairs shes gone which is next week.
