She saw one at a furniture store that she likes. It's made of aged cedar 4" fence pickets. Looks to be 40" or so tall. The shop owner didn't let me take pictures or measurements so I'm kinda screwed there. I've tried to search for plans to no avail.

Anyone out there know of what I'm talking about and maybe have a set of plans? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I had a friend whose wife was a fantastic sewer. He was a forester and a fisherman. He would buy outdoor gear of all sorts; she would get the measurements and figure out how things were put together, then make a better product from better materials. Then he'd take the purchased item back and get a refund.

I made these for our dogs, different size dogs so different size stands. I made them nest to keep them out of the way. Not fancy but useable. No plans, I just threw them together. They've been dropped and chewed on and so far, so good.

I think I got it now...
Dog food holder not dog dish holder /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif.
40" would be a dish holder for a LARGE dog!

Don't have plans, but try to measure the bag size of the dog food you buy and then add a couple of inches to that to help with setteling.
