Kubota L 3301
Around 5:30 this after noon my new Kubota was delivered. I bought it on Monday and I saw it in the crate at the dealer. I bought a 3301 with loader gear shift and I got forks and a box blade. I played with it tonight until just after dark. I was impressed with it so far. The seat rides rougher that my other one did but it will work. I tried the gear model and a HST model but I liked the gear better so that is what I got. Can't wait until morning

Congrats, but remember no pics it didn't happen. Check your tire pressure mine was high and made the ride extra rough

Also check to see if you have a suspension seat. Look in your manual, for a "preload" adjustment on the back under the seat. Look for a T handle adjust to set the preload for your weight. Also my old L3400 was frozen up when delivered, I had to lube it up and stomp on the seat plate to free it up.

Thanks for the tip about the tee handle I found it. Wasn't able to play today as it rained all day. Walked in the pole barn tonight and the new paint and rubber smell hit. I will have to do something about that:D

Adjust your seat so that your weight when you sit on the seat does not bottom out It should sink down some when you sit in the seat but not hit the bottom. If you weigh more, you will need to tighten the T handle so you do not bottom out, if you weigh less, loosen the T handle. You are looking for the "happy medium" where the seat has plenty of travel to soak up the bumps, but does not quite bottom out in the roughest of bumps. It ain't an air-ride seat, but it does help quite a bit when they are working well.. If it doesnt move at all, lube the Pizz out of it and flip the seat forward and do the Wiley Coyote stomp on the plate until it starts to move (hold on to the ROPS for support while you jump up and down). Many come from the dealership not moving and frozen up.

I think this one is frozen I move the handle and could not see anything move. As soon as the rain leaves I will work it over. I have a few acres to brush hog before the snow flies. I also could not get it to slide when I moved the lever that locks it

Now for a question, under the seat there is a safety switch. What does it control I can stand up in the and the tractor still keeps running is it for the PTO. I freed up the seat mech and it made a big difference

The Manual can explain it best, but the seat switch is multifunctional. IF you get up off of the seat you have about 2 seconds before the engine stops running if the hydro pedal is pressed ( I am assuming a hydro machine) and if the PTO is engaged as soon as you come off of the seat it dies in 2 seconds, BUT if you need to operate the PTO while you are off of the seat (like to operate a chipper for instance) you stand up and then quickly pull up and hold on to the seat as you move off of the operator platform and tilt the seat over onto the steering wheel. There are actually two switch sections to the safety switch. I may not have explained this very well, but you can experiment with it.
