My Tractor Rebuild and Repaint Project............

The following are some pictures I dug up of the rebuild on my 1949 Farmall Cub.

My father purchased this tractor from a farmer in 1973. It was abandoned in a field with a tree growing through it. He unstuck the engine and put it to work.

My father restored this tractor in 1980. This is the picture of his restoration job. He went through the engine but always regreted not having the cylinders bored.

In 1996 I broke a piston ring while mowing a field for the local archery club. I disassembled the whole tractor while the engine was at the machine shop and cleaned and repainted each piece.
