I thought yall wowould like to see a picture of my spoild rotten White German Shepard. Her name is Lily. She goes every where I go, the shop, to work with me riding around on the weekends shares a bed with me, rides with the dump truck with man and every thing kinda like a 4 legged shadow. Shes 10 months old and last weighed in at 75 pounds. Her dad at his prime was 145 pounds at the vets office.

Mike,

When you have photos that are that large, I think it is a good idea to just have a link to them.

Such as: Photo 1 | Photo 2 | Photo 3

Also, you totally changed the title of the original thread -- those of us who view post in the last X hours had no idea these were part of this exisiting thread.

Just my 3 cents.

Gatorboy- Photos are not large. Compared toooo??? I am used to a T1 line here or broadband at home, plus not many people use dial up since it is poor and old school.

Yup, you are correct. Links are nice as you stated, but I did the same thing (either click on text or add pix); mine saves a step

I removed them to keep all you and dial up people happy.

Hell I could use thumbnails. Title was “My spoiled dog”; I added to it.

Just added my limited know-how.

Taylortractornut - Looks great but I would not have a Shepard at 145 lbs. Too much pressure on the hips and ACL. Shepard are VERY prone to these problems and more due to their size. Keep them as lean as possible.

Keep the pictures coming!

Compared to the set width of the TBN forum (~760 pixels). When a photo is larger than that is creates havoc with the formatting of the page.

This was a hot topic a couple years back. I think there was a general rule decided upon by Muhammad, but I can't seem to locate it.

</font><font color="blue" class="small">( mine saves a step )</font>

I don't understand this? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I created your three picture links in 1 message, you had 3 messages. I see it as my way saving 2 steps.

ok--I stated, “ mine saves a step” since the user can view a picture without clicking on a link and loading another browser; therefore mine saves the user time and the body in ergo issues! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I thought it was just my 3 dogs but I guess they are all the same I cant even begin to keep mine of the furniture or the beds, and when you even think about telling them to get down they look at you like you just shot them in the foot!!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Star opened her eyes for the picture and went back to sleep.... mumbled something like...."tractors are boring"...

gsxr1100,
I kinda thought I read where Muhammad asked people to NOT add the photos into their post as it caused problems with the dial-up some people are forced to use....as in having no other option.
Maybe I'm having a brain lapse......been known to. Please don't take offense /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

We havent had an problems with this line, bui I do have a friend that raises black and tan shepards and his has the problem with the wieght. Mainly his eat too much and dont get to run. Champ runs now a little over a hundred, He gets fatter in the winer time as he finds all the throw away deer parts the neighbor dumps on his property. Usually our shepards weigh in around 80 to 90 pounds, Champ is a big boned dog but Lily is a leaner dog.
I dont know how I could get along with aout an animal following me around lol. Lily will also get alot of seat time at my new job as I get ti run the same landfill but I also have to drive thet truck so shell get to ride every other day.

Gatorboy is correct... we (all TBN members) have been asked to limit in-line photos. If they are wider than the forums, they will throw things off for everybody and they take a very long time to download for us poor and old school folks. Thanks for removing them and posting links to them instead.
