I do appreciate the efforts of law enforcement to prevent drinking and driving. My nephew lost his drivers license for having an open container.
My brother is still perturbed with the police and the court over this.
The driver of the car didn't get cited or even warned for having an open container in his car but my nephew who wasn't driving and was setting in the back seat got the book thrown at him.
