After #2 - What do you guys think? This was my first effort at restoring old & rusty machinery and I think I did a pretty good job, even if I do say so myself.. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Looks great IH, but I've never seen a mower like that before. Tell us more about it. Is it old? Used for haying? How big a tractor does it take?

Nice looking work /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Congradulations! You done did good.

Now me? Well, now that pile of junk would have probably ended up being parts and pieces of lots of different things. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My wife often wishes she'd married a repairer instead of a makerer. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Ok, now that you've had some practice you can come help me fix my rusted out bush hog at the farm. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I've got all the steel, all I'm waiting for is the weather to warm up a bit and some motivation. The motivation will probably be supplied by my wife and then the weather will become a secondary consideration. I must admit though, it "T's" me off how well some of you guys can weld. To me it's still 3,000 degree superglue. I really must make time to go to the local junior college for a welding course.
Good project and it looks great.

This is a drum mower, isn't it?
I never seen such a mower before, either. Looks like a collectable product produced temporarily for a short time.
